The main requirements of the new generation is free access to testing products, recommendations, reading opinions in the social media and comparing prices in various stores, knowing the producer and the retailer's intention. We're witnessing a growth in the demand for technologies, which allow customers use a service, get acquainted with a product or customize it before physically buying it. At first, that was possible thanks to the Internet, but now it is virtual (VR) and augmented realities (AR) that enable customers to view a product, e.g. furniture in their own living room, to see a car they intend to buy in their own garage, a watch on their own wrist or make-up color on their own face. Virtual reality is still something new, but it is about to become a standard expectation of consumers (like information accessibility has become a standard on the Internet). Virtual product visualization and learning how positive impact it can have on the consumer's life before spending any money on it – this can become key in shopping decision making. The VR and AR technology is also the benefit of providing consumers with a bigger choice of varied options and product varieties in gradually smaller space and shorter time.
